Honest, transparent policy for personalized wedding favors.

We craft each Wedding Perfume Favor order from scratch — your names, your date, your fragrance choice, your label design. Because every favor is personalized for your wedding, our return policy works differently from a typical retail product. Below is exactly how we handle every situation, in plain English.


Personalized Orders Are Final After Approval

Once you approve the label proof (Step 4 of our custom order process) and we begin production, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded — your names, wedding date, and custom design are printed and bottles are filled specifically for you.

This is standard practice across the personalized wedding industry, and it’s why we make sure to:

  • ✅ Send you a digital label proof with unlimited revisions until you’re 100% happy
  • ✅ Provide a fragrance sample kit so you smell every option before committing
  • ✅ Confirm every detail in writing before charging the second payment installment

Before Production Starts

You can cancel your order at any time before label proof approval with a full refund of any deposit paid (minus a small administrative fee for proof work already completed).

If Your Order Arrives Damaged

We ship every order in protective branded packaging, but carrier accidents do happen. If your order arrives with damaged or broken bottles:

  • Within 48 hours of delivery, send us photos of the damaged packaging, photos of the damaged bottles, and your order number
  • We file the carrier claim and send free replacements within 7 business days
  • No additional cost to you — we cover replacement production and shipping

If We Made a Mistake

If we shipped you the wrong fragrance, the wrong label, or the wrong quantity (i.e. our error, not a wedding-detail change you sent late), we issue:

  • Free replacement of the affected items, expedited shipping
  • Production within 5-7 business days (priority queue)
  • Goodwill refund of 10% on the original order if delivery is at risk for your wedding date

What’s NOT Covered

To be transparent about what we cannot refund:

  • ❌ Personal preference change after label approval (“I changed my mind on the fragrance”)
  • ❌ Wedding cancellation (we recommend wedding insurance for this scenario)
  • ❌ Late RSVP changes — if you confirmed 100 favors and ended up needing 80, the extras are yours to keep
  • ❌ Damages reported more than 48 hours after delivery
  • ❌ Custom packaging or bottle modifications you requested mid-production

Wedding Postponements

If your wedding is postponed (whether by weeks or months), we can:

  • Hold your finished favors in our French warehouse for up to 6 months at no extra charge
  • Reprint labels with the new date for $1.50 per favor (covers ink + label material + labor)
  • Re-ship to your new venue — you only cover the new shipping cost

Sample Kit Returns

Sample kits ordered before placing a full order are fully refundable within 14 days of receipt, minus the original shipping cost. Simply ship the kit back (any carrier) and we’ll refund the kit cost when it arrives at our workshop.
